Das NVIDIA/Mellanox MMS4A20-XM800-kompatible QT-OSFP224-800G-DR4 unterstützt eine maximale Datenrate von 850 Gbit/s. Es ermöglicht Glasfaserverbindungen über 500 m mit Singlemode-Faser (SMF) und MTP/MPO-12-APC-Steckverbindern. Das 800G OSFP224 DR4 unterstützt das InfiniBand-XDR-Protokoll und nutzt die Pulsamplitudenmodulation (PAM) mit vier Kanälen (200G-PAM4).

Dieser Transceiver ist kompatibel mit IEEE 802.3dj, OSFP MSA Specification Rev 5.1 und CMIS Rev 5.2. Die DDM-Funktion (Digital Diagnostics Monitoring) wird vom 800G-Optiktransceiver unterstützt, um eine Echtzeit-Überwachung der Betriebsparameter zu ermöglichen.

Das MMS4A20-XM800 800G OSFP224 DR4-Modul unterstützt das XDR 800Gb/s InfiniBand-Protokoll. Dank seines flachen Designs dient es zur Verbindung der Quantum-X800 QM3x00-Switches mit Twin-Port-OSFP224-Transceivern (2x800Gb/s) und der Dual-800Gb/s-ConnectX-8-Mezzanine-Karte in flüssigkeitsgekühlten Systemen sowie mit ConnectX-8-PCIe-Karten. Die mit NVIDIA InfiniBand kompatiblen Optiken von QSFPTEK sind vollständig in NVIDIA InfiniBand-Hostgeräten getestet und eignen sich ideal für durchgängige InfiniBand-NDR-Systeme.
